The Business Benefits of DMR in Police, urban engineering, medical, transportation, education, vertical markets

Using analog, people can easily talk over each other, and that was happening all the time. While two people talk at once, the signal interference can easily hinder users. Sometimes people were not picking up words, even couldn’t be heard at all, and the goes even worse when the organizations with thousands dispatched workers.

When it comes to vital communication, one message not being heard or understood through a radio signal could greatly impact the safety of a user, you have to consider the smooth, flexible, clear, acquaintance of communication. With DMR digital radio as for talk without interrupt, the only thing you need to do is set your talk as supervisor which had the top priority. DMR radio users had no reports of signal drop off, and get excellent clarity audio.

The main benefits of DMR are much better audio quality, increased range, private calling, messaging and GPS capabilities. Police, urban engineering, medical, transportation, education and other vertical markets fields demand wide coverage, large quantity talker connection communication system for highly coordinated and users’ safety. DMR digital radios are changing the way they do business. Switching from analog to digital has allowed for higher channel capacity and happier customers than with legacy networks.

RFID-Enabled radios improve the efficiency of guard tour systems, and allow real-time monitoring of the patrollers

Banks, residences, hotels and logistics firms often need to track the movements of their personnel through remote locations. Most companies use a predominantly manual method. The manual method most often is individuals check in via mobile phone or radio each time they arrive at, or leave, a specific location. This greatly reduce the efficiency and flexible of tracking. RFID-enabled radios make this process automated. The radio's RFID technology is designed to monitor the locations of individuals who work remotely and are constantly on the move, such as guards, cleaners and maintenance personnel. The RFID-enabled radios come with a built-in RFID reader designed to work in conjunction with RFID-tagged Patrol Checkpoint.

The RFID-enabled radios were developed to improve the efficiency of guard tour systems, to reduce the number of devices that need to be carried and to allow real-time monitoring of the patrollers. Banks, residences, hotels and logistics firms have begun using RFID-enabled two-way radios to monitor the locations of its security guards and other personnel. RFID-enabled handheld two-way radio comes with a built-in RFID reader, designed to work in conjunction with RFID cards, RFID-tagged Patrol Checkpoints and Patrol Management software application, to manage each read event and make that data available to a company's management or clients as needed.

At each location at which an employee is intended to report, such as specific rooms or facilities, there is a Patrol Checkpoint mounted to a wall or other surface. When the worker brings a RFID-enabled radio to a Patrol Checkpoint, the handheld emits an audible beep to indicate that it has the unique ID encoded to that Patrol Checkpoint's RFID tag. That read data is sent to the server thereby updating the software to indicate he or she was at that location.

Each employee's assigned patrol routes can be entered into the application, enabling the manager or dispatcher to confirm that every Patrol Checkpoint is visited within the required span of time. In the event of an emergency, such as an employee not responding to radio calls, the system will indicate that individual's last known position, thus making it easier to locate him or her.

Since the system was released, numerous companies in a variety of industries have been using the radios, tags and application to identify where their workers are located, and when.

variables that influence the effective range of a two-way radio

The effective range of a two-way radio is dependent on several variables

1 Antenna: Make sure your antenna screwed on well to the antenna connector of the radio. (Damaged or improperly attached antennas can reduce your coverage dramatically)
BF-7110 two way radio with telescopic antenna greatly enhanced communication coverage
BF-7110 two way radio with telescopic antenna

2 Batteries: Use fresh batteries and to make sure that your batteries are fully charged

3 Surrounding terrain: Inside a building or even just a room with really thick concrete and steel walls will greatly reduce transmission signal. So,step outside or get near a wall opening or a window, transmitting from the highest point of a natural or manmade structure can noticeably increase the range of your handheld radio

4 Frequency: Which Is Better, VHF or UHF? VHF travel greater distances, but less suitable for highly obstructed areas. UHF with higher penetration, and much more effectively than VHF. Generally, UHF is the more popular band to use because it is a better all around signal, unless you need to transmit outdoors across great distances.

most BFDX two way radios both covered VHF and UHF frequency. you can choose your suitable frequency freely
